Fox is now casting call for featured patients in Atlanta, Georgia for The Resident.
Casting directors are now casting actors, models, and talent to work on scenes filming on Wednesday, October 31st in Atlanta, Georgia.
Producers are seeking the following types:
- HOMELESS MAN: Male, any ethnicity, who looks in the 40’s to 60’s age range, must have a downscale homeless look and good charactery homeless wardrobe.
- LEG INJURY PATIENT: Male, who looks Caucasian and looks in the 20’s age range. No visible tattoos. You will have a fake open wound injury added to your leg, with fake maggots added (I think they use rice). You must be comfortable with fake blood and make-up and maggots, and be a brand new face to the show.
- DRUG DEALER with BLACK SUV: Male, any ethnicity, who looks like a inner city bad neighborhood drug dealer type, with a black or charcoal grey SUV. You must have the look AND the vehicle in order to submit.
About The Resident:
According to Deadline, The Resident centers around Devon Pravesh (Manish Dayal) a young doctor who begins his first day working with senior resident Conrad Hawkins who pulls the curtain back on all of the good and evil in modern-day medicine. Lives may be saved or lost, but expectations will always be shattered.

Brandi is looking for some males to play some specialty featured roles for an outdoor “free clinic” scene working this Wednesday in Atlanta. Please take a look at the category descriptions below, and ONLY submit if you are a NEW FACE to the show (meaning you have NEVER worked on The Resident) and you fit the description. You do not need to be registered with Central Casting to submit, but you must be willing to register before the work date on Wednesday, or be able to provide the appropriate I9 documentation on the work date.
HOMELESS MAN: Male, any ethnicity, who looks in the 40’s to 60’s age range, must have a downscale homeless look and good charactery homeless wardrobe.
