The commercial will involve various scenes that depict everyday moments, such as spending quality time together, engaging in fun activities, and sharing heartfelt interactions. Your chemistry and ability to convey the strong connection between a father and daughter will be key to the success of the commercial.
Requirements:
- Dad: Charismatic and warm presence, aged 28-40, any ethnicity.
- Daughter: Energetic and expressive, aged 8-10, any ethnicity.
- Must reside in Auckland, New Zealand.
- Genuine, loving, and playful chemistry between the Dad and Daughter duo.
- Prior acting or on-camera experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Availability for the shooting dates and potential rehearsals.
Compensation:
- Dad: $800 (NZD) for the shoot day.
- Daughter: $600 (NZD) for the shoot day.
- Travel expenses within Auckland will be reimbursed if applicable.
- Usage fee included for the broadcast of the commercial on TV and online platforms.

Requirements

Must currently be a Mercury customer

Household must be based in Auckland (renters and owners welcome)

Home does not need to be fancy—just safe and suitable for filming

Open to all family types: solo, blended, extended, LGBTQIA+, or multigenerational

Must be comfortable relocating to a hotel for up to 3 days before and 1 day after filming (covered by production)
Compensation

Household: $15,000 NZD (up to 6 people), less tax

Additional location fee for temporary use and redecoration of your home

Hotel accommodation costs covered during prep and post-filming days
