Electronics Brand Commercial Casting Call
Jessica Jefferies Casting is looking for the UK-based, female-identifying performer to join the team at Doppelganger Studios for an exciting, live performance capture experience.
Our performer should be native Taiwanese and speak fluent Taiwanese and Mandarin. They should also be able to speak fluent English, as they will be working with an English director and creative team.
Doppelganger Studios are working with a global cosmetic electronic brand to produce life, presented shopping experience to be broadcast across online media platforms. Our performers will use performance capture technology as they deliver 20-30 minutes of the live, scripted piece in a virtual environment. Our character is bright, happy, cheerful, and professional.
Female identifying performer
- Playing age: ’30’s.
- Must speak fluent Taiwanese, Mandarin, and English
- Must be based in the United Kingdom
- You will work in a performance capture suit with a virtual set.
- Experience in learning and working with scripted contacts is a must.
- Experience in working with live broadcasts or performances is a bonus.
- Must be available for required dates.
- Date: Rehearsal & pre-recording 26th August 2022.
- Live Stream 27th September 2022
Fee: £500 per day
Additional buyout and usage fee to be negotiated.

Job Responsibilities

Perform in a one-act theatrical production addressing trauma and mental health

Portray characters with emotional authenticity and nuance

Rehearse, tour, and perform in multiple UK cities including Salford, Lancaster, Scarisbrick, Lytham St Annes, Camden, and Blackburn

Engage with post-show discussions and outreach events, as needed

Collaborate with the director and production team for character development
Requirements

Stage acting experience preferred, especially in dramatic or socially driven work

Strong memorization and line delivery under touring conditions

Availability for all listed tour dates in September and October

Comfort in addressing sensitive themes around trauma and mental health
