Casting Call: Voice Actors for “The Assassin’s Blade” Audiobook Series

Job Overview: We are excited to announce an open casting call for voice actors to participate in the YouTube audiodrama adaptation of the prequel to the award-winning “Throne of Glass” series, titled “The Assassin’s Blade”. This project aims to bring these beloved novellas to a wider audience and make them more accessible.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Record lines for assigned roles in a clear, professional manner.

  • Provide 2-3 takes of each line to showcase versatility.

  • Be available for quick turnaround of lines (within 1 week of receiving scripts).

  • Participate in possible retakes, additional foley, and sound effects as chapters are released.

Requirements:

  • Access to a high-quality XLR microphone or a professional recording setup.

  • Ability to ensure no background noise or audio distortion in recordings.

  • Willingness to participate in long-term project commitments, as roles may require returning for future chapters.

  • Must have Discord to communicate with the project team and receive ongoing updates.

  • Agree to sign an individual agreement safeguarding your voice against unauthorized AI use.

Compensation:

  • This is a volunteer-based project. No financial compensation will be provided at this stage.

  • Participants will gain valuable experience and exposure in a widely viewed platform.
