Job Detail: Saturday Night Live (SNL) is currently seeking talented and enthusiastic SAG-AFTRA child actors to join our casting database for the upcoming season, with the potential for additional casting opportunities. This is a fantastic chance for young actors to gain exposure on a renowned live television platform known for its comedy sketches.
Job Responsibilities:
- Participating in various live and pre-recorded comedy sketches as required.
- Working collaboratively with the production team, including directors, writers, and fellow cast members, to bring sketches to life.
- Adapting to various roles and characters, including but not limited to impersonations, fictional characters, and possibly playing background roles.
- Attending rehearsals as scheduled by the production team to ensure readiness for live performances.
- Maintaining a professional demeanor on set and during interactions with cast, crew, and production staff.
Requirements:
- Must be a member of SAG-AFTRA.
- Actors must have valid work permits.
- Must have a Coogan account to ensure compliance with child actor labor laws.
- Available to participate in rehearsals and live show recordings in New York City.
- Flexible schedule to accommodate the dynamic and sometimes unpredictable nature of live television production.
- Previous acting experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to memorize lines and adapt to direction and feedback.
- Must be comfortable performing in front of a live audience as well as cameras.
- All applicants must submit recent photos along with their age and current height for consideration.
Compensation Details:
- Compensation will be in accordance with SAG-AFTRA guidelines for television performances.
