Casting Call: Lead Child Actor for Feature Film “Crazy for the Storm”
Job Description: Imperative Entertainment is thrilled to announce a global casting call for the lead role in the upcoming feature film “Crazy for the Storm”. This is a unique opportunity for young talent to shine in a major motion picture. The film is based on the true story of a boy’s survival journey after a devastating plane crash and explores the complex relationship with his father.
Job Responsibilities:
- Portray the character of an 11-year-old boy with authenticity and depth.
- Collaborate with the director, fellow actors, and crew to bring the story to life.
- Attend rehearsals, filming, and promotional events as scheduled.
- Work closely with the production team to fulfill the director’s vision.
- Maintain a high level of performance consistency throughout the filming process.
Requirements:
- Male, aged 10-12 years.
- White ethnicity.
- Athletic and smart.
- Physically small for his age.
- Somewhat shy but also assured.
- Has or can convincingly portray a 70s beach vibe.
- Must be able to perform with a Standard American accent.
- Full availability from October through December 2024, as filming will take place in South Africa and Austria.
- No acting experience is necessary. We’re looking for natural talent and a genuine fit for the character.
Compensation:
- Competitive salary commensurate with the industry standards for lead roles.
- Travel and accommodation for the actor and a guardian will be covered for the duration of the shoot abroad.
- Per diems for living expenses while on location.
- Potential bonuses based on the film’s success.
