Extras Needed for Survivalist Campers in TV Series “Homestead”

Job Description: We are seeking new extras to portray survivalist campers in the upcoming TV series “Homestead,” based on the best-selling book series Black Autumn. This is a post-apocalyptic family survival drama set in modern times, revolving around a mountain compound where a rich family faces challenges from both its military operators and rural member families during the collapse of society. Extras will portray members of the survivalist camp, adapting to harsh living conditions in a world struggling for survival.

Job Responsibilities:

• Portray survivalist campers in a post-apocalyptic setting.
• Participate in scenes on uneven terrain, moving, standing, and possibly engaging in light physical activity.
• Some extras may be provided with prop firearms and should follow on-set safety protocols.
• Act as part of a group living in a mountain compound, demonstrating resilience and adaptability in the face of societal collapse.

Requirements:

• Open to Male/Female/Non-Binary/Other, aged 25-50.
• Must be physically capable of working on uneven ground and moving or standing for extended periods.
• No prior experience with firearms is necessary, but it is a plus.
• This role is open to local hires only in the Bountiful City area.
• Extras who have previously worked on this project last year or this year are not eligible to apply.

Compensation:

• Rate: $150/12 per day.
• Local hire only (Bountiful City area).
• No COVID vaccination or testing is required for this project.

Casting Call : Extra for Undisclosed Car Commercial

Job Responsibilities:

• Participate in the filming of a commercial for a high-end, undisclosed vehicle brand.

• Follow directions from the director and crew to perform specific actions or poses as required.

• Prepare for multiple wardrobe changes if selected.

• Ensure punctuality and availability for the entirety of the scheduled shoot.

Requirements:

• Current color images of headshot and full body to be submitted with application.

• Dress in an “upscale” manner appropriate for submission images.

• No noticeable tattoos or extreme facial piercings.

• Be prepared with appropriate wardrobe:

  • Men: Suits, suit jacket, sports coat, blazers, button-up dress shirt, dress pants/slacks, dress shoes, and other suitable accessories.

  • Women: Little black dress, stylish/fun party dresses, midi or maxi dresses, chic women’s suits, closed toe heels/pumps/flats, appropriate accessories.

• Must be able to adhere to wardrobe specifications: upscale, semi-formal, not formal or black tie.

• Availability on both May 19th and 20th for a full day of shooting, although only one will be the working day.

• Ability to make wardrobe changes if selected.

Compensation Details:

• Pay is $300 for a 12-hour day.

• This rate is fixed regardless of any overtime.

HOMESTEAD – Extras Casting Call

Job Detail: We are seeking Women Homesteaders, aged 18-50, to join the cast of the featured film “Homestead: Black Autumn”. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a period piece set in a historic homestead. All roles are non-speaking and will be selected based on submitted photos that match the role description.

Job Responsibilities:

• Act as background extras in various scenes, portraying Women Homesteaders.
• Follow directions from the director and production team.
• Maintain continuity in appearance and actions for multiple days of shooting if required.
• Be punctual and prepared for the assigned call time.

Requirements:

• Gender: Female
• Age: 18-50
• Must be available to work on October 11th (Wednesday) in the Bountiful area.
• Flexibility in scheduling as call times may vary for each day of shooting.
• Willingness to work a 12-hour day.

Compensation Details:

• Extra: $130 for a 12-hour work day.
• Featured Extra: $160 for a 12-hour work day.
• Required to work multiple dates for continuity: $180 for a 12-hour work day.
• Photo Doubles: $180 for a 12-hour work day.
• Stand-Ins: $180 for a 12-hour work day.
• Bumps for vehicles, props, etc.: Additional $20 as applicable.

Filming Schedule:

• Principal photography will commence on Monday, October 9th, and conclude on November 5th.
• Filming will take place from Monday to Friday, excluding Sunday, November 5th.
• Please ensure your availability for the specified dates, with a plan for a 12-hour work day.

Film Location:

• The majority of filming will occur in the Bountiful City, UT area.
• Specific details and a map will be provided to confirmed talent.
