- Sylvia Flexer had pollo from early childhood and now walks with the aid of a leg btace and crutches.
- With boundless determination, Sylvia is willing to go up against the PRESIDENT of the United States, Franklin D. Roosevelt (himself a President in a wheelchair) to end discrimination against the disabled.
