Position Overview

Our IT Enterprise Applications is currently seeking a passionate Workday financial expert to lead the implementation and deployment of our Workday Financial platform to empower overseas business growth and enhance employee experience.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

· Act as the project manager leading the global Workday Financials implementation project

· Facilitate the definition of the project scope, requirements, and deliverables

· Develop, control, and communicate the project plan, timeline, and milestones

· Define and document project tasks, issues, risks

· Monitor milestones and deliverables to identify issues early, develop workarounds and communicates/ escalates to leadership as applicable

· Track and report project deliverables to the project team and stakeholders, through status reports and meetings

· Develop procedures, manuals, and other documentation for the systems developed based on the requirements gathered

· Develop transition plan(s) and execute those plans to ensure orderly transition to operations

· Administer the scrum board – cards are up to date, backlog is robust, goals are clear

· Proactively eliminate blockers and manage roadblocks

· Participate in the change management and go live support processes

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of technical project management experience (Workday Financial Implementation is preferred)

· Experience managing large scale Workday Financial engagements or complex IT engagements is preferred

· Proficient in Workday Financial modules (e.g. Financial Management, Banking & Settlement, Projects, Expenses, Supplier Accounts, Procurement)

· Proficient in all phases of the Application Development Lifecycle

· PMI or Scrum Alliance (or similar) certifications in Program Manager, Project Manager, or Scrum Master competencies are preferred

· Deep understanding of agile methodologies, process and change management tools and techniques

· Ability to manage multiple projects, tasks while overseeing many different aspects of the projects

· Excellent leadership skills

· Strong communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills required to interact with colleagues and stakeholders

· Ability to work effectively with others who are in remote locations and varying time zones

· Fast Learner and ability to adapt quickly to change

· Work collaboratively in a fast-pace cross-functional team

· Experience working with Agile Project Management tools such as Jira

· Experience working with Documents Sharing tools such as Confluence

· Bilingual (English, Chinese) is required

The base pay range for this position in California is $125,400 to $229,900 per year.

Actual pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign on payment, relocation package, and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as other medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the specific position offered.

Position overview:

Senior HR Programs Manager will play an essential role in managing the HR Share Service Project, defining HR practices, improving process efficiency with a data-driven approach, as well as leading meaningful HR projects to support the business growth and employee experiences. This role will report to the HR Director and partner closely with HR center of excellence teams and HR operation team in the Americas and at headquarters.

What you will be doing:

  • Develop and implement share service processes that shape the employee lifecycle and are efficient, scalable, and compliant will all regulatory requirements
  • Design and develop HR Share Service regional Service Level Agreement and other measurements.
  • Create efficiencies by getting a deeper understanding of current processes, data flows, and system capabilities to streamline and/or automate offline processes
  • Contribute to the implementation of global HR systems upgrades or optimization by providing local insights
  • Partner with all HR Share Service stakeholders and act as the liaison with Finance, Legal, IT to ensure clear communication, handoffs, collaboration, and systems and workflow integrations
  • Conduct regular process reviews, ensure documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are developed and maintained to be easily accessible
  • Enhance data reporting capabilities, produce regular metrics and utilize HR analytics to develop solutions that address process gaps
  • Identify opportunities for HR process improvements by using data and execute the optimization with a systematic approach
  • Independently manage vendor relationships to deliver premium HR services and employee experience
  • Partner with leadership to recommend, research, and implement new approaches, policies, procedures, and tools with a focus on scaling the organization

We’d like you to have :

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Human Resource or related major. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 8+ years’ relevant experience, working across a subset of areas – onboarding & offboarding, HRIS administration, recruiting, and/or HR compliance. Prior experience managing teams is a plus
  • Analytical, creative, pragmatic thinker and problem-solver
  • Able to learn quickly and adapt to a changing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships/partnership successfully and independently
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to deliver results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, and possess the ability to prioritize their workload independently
  • Strong ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maturity
  • Possesses a proactive approach to accomplishing work and demonstrates the flexibility to meet business needs with a focus on achieving results
  • Comfortable solving complex problems while navigating ambiguity
  • Excellent reporting skills using Excel, or other data analytical tools
  • A driven self-starter with a positive outlook, flexible nature, and tenacious work style that fits with our hyper-growth environment
  • Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information
