Job Description
A new non-union documentary focused on the spirit of country music is now seeking Caucasian male and female talent between the ages of 50 and 75 to portray a dancing couple. This is a paid opportunity for Austin-based locals only. No professional dance experience is required, though it’s a great plus. Whether auditioning solo or as a couple, all eligible talent is encouraged to apply. The shoot captures the charm of Southern dance culture, so bring your boots and country flair.

Requirements

PRODUCTION INFO:
CASTINGS DUE: April 9th at midnight (no exceptions)
Shoot dates: April 16th- 18th.
Location: San Antonio, Non-Union
PAID JOB: $250/day
CALLBACKS: As of now, production will be choosing characters based on tapped auditions, but they could potentially ask for a zoom call.
SPECS:
1- Secondary role-
MALE. Ages 30-50 OPEN TO ALL ETHNICITIES. Looking for eccentric and unique looks. Funny and wise with a lot of character. *Acting experience required. (Think Jiminy cricket, the madhatter, Clopin Trouillefou (Hunchback of Notre-Dame character) or Dr. Facilier (the princess and the frog, but with a positive light to it!) -Will probably play all 3 days but not full days.
2-Glorified Extra (give me 5).
FEMALE. AFRICAN AMERICAN. Bigger built preferred but not required. Funny, sassy, and witty. (Think Melissa McCarthy vibes!!) *Acting experience required- Will play only half day but will get full days pay!.

Location: SAN ANTONIO, TX (Talent must be willing to work as locals)
Fittings: Will happen on set the day of the shoot.
Shoot dates: ONE DAY between JAN 10th and JAN 13tH
