“Youth participation in clinical trials is a vital step to ensuring the safety of pediatric medical treatments. However, teens may be understandably anxious about taking part in a process they don’t fully understand. Dr. Alison Parker and Dr. Tracy Scull have been funded by the National Institute of Nursing Research (NINR) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to create an interactive website to educate teens about pediatric clinical research. The goal is to explain the procedures, risks, benefits, and management of clinical trials to help teens make an informed decision about their own participation. The website will be based off of DIgiKnowIt News for children (ages 8-12) and will include interactive learning content, electronic comic books, and video spotlights of teens talking about their experiences in pediatric clinical trials.Explore DigiKnowIt News for children here: https://free.digiknowit.com/ ”

MUST BE:

-13-18 years old

-Able to remember your participation in a clinical trial

-Willing to talk about your experience in the clinical trial in a video for an informational website.
