Casting Call: TV Commercial Roles for Pacific Islander Males in Sydney
Job Detail: Fountainhead Casting is currently seeking Sydney-based Pacific Islander males for upcoming roles in a television commercial. We are looking to cast individuals to play the roles of a son and a father. We are also interested in real-life father/son pairs who fit the age requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform scripted roles as per the director’s vision.
- Collaborate with other actors and crew on set.
- Attend costume fittings, makeup sessions, and rehearsals as required.
- Ability to take direction and adapt to changes in the script or scene.
Requirements:
- Male, Pacific Islander descent.
- Ages: Approximately 30s for the son role, 65+ for the father role.
- Based in Sydney, available for shooting in the second half of January 2024.
- Acting experience preferred but not mandatory.
- Must be reliable and punctual for a one-day shoot.
Compensation:
- Son Role: $5,000 AUD
- Father Role: $2,500 AUD

Junior Cricket Clubs Casting Call
Job Detail: We seek Sydney-based Junior cricket clubs to participate in an exciting paid commercial shoot. This commercial will feature 20 kids aged eight and above and ten adults/parents who are passionate cricket fans. The commercial offers a fantastic opportunity to showcase the enthusiasm and spirit of the cricketing community while also providing a chance to meet some cricketing legends, including Steve Smith, Usman Khawaja, Meg Lanning, and Darcie Brown. The shoot is scheduled to take place on August 15th in Sydney.
Job Responsibilities: As part of this casting call, the selected Junior cricket clubs, kids, and adults/parents will be required to participate in the commercial shoot. The kids will play an integral role in depicting the youthful energy and excitement of the sport, while the cricket-loving adults/parents will add authenticity and passion to the scenes. All participants will collaborate with the production team and follow their direction to bring the vision of the commercial to life.
Requirements:
- Sydney-based Junior cricket clubs with at least 20 kids aged eight and above.
- The clubs must also be able to provide ten enthusiastic adults/parents who are genuine cricket fans.
- Participants should be available for the shoot on August 15th in Sydney.
Compensation Details: All selected participants, including the Junior cricket clubs, kids, and adults/parents, will be compensated a total fee of $9,000 for their involvement in the commercial shoot. The compensation can be received in two ways:
- The fee of $9,000 can be donated to the participating cricket club to support their cricketing activities and facilities. OR
- The fee can be divided among the participants, with each individual receiving $300 for their contribution to the commercial.
Please Note:
- Travel expenses to the shooting location will not be covered, so participants must arrange transportation to the set.
- A parent or legal guardian must accompany all minors participating in the shoot on the day of the shoot.
