Born and raised in the Bronx, New York. Carlos Liz has evolved into one of the most self-built from the ground-up Actor/Director. With an amazing list of credits to his name, he has managed to stay new and fresh even with a large catalog under his belt. With an extreme taste for the entertainment world, Carlos Liz also known as "Raxiel Liz" has come a long way to become the self-made powerhouse that he is today. Starting off in the streets of the Bronx Carlos (Raxiel) Liz lost his older brother at a young age due to a stray bullet. Spiraling out of control in order for Raxiel to get a grip on himself he leaned into his brother's music collection. A collection that consisted of many Legends streaming from "LL Cool J, Run DMC, Rob Bas, Biz, Rakim and money other greats! Doing his best to ease his pain by reminiscing on his brother's favorite music, Raxiel found himself intrigued by the art and craft that went into it. He shortly started creating song and rhymes in memory of his brother. Later after it became a little easier for Raxiel to move forward he found a love within the music world and became an artist. This is where his journey in the entertainment world started. He took music so seriously that he completed a few albums and mixtapes and started performing in different locations and cities. His craft grew and he was eager to learn how to make graphics, music videos and more. In his music videos he always had a story board. A lot of times it involved him acting out a few scenes before the actual video started and this is when people started to notice his acting ability. The more he did it the more it became something he felt he could reach and achieve. Raxiel has always has a passion for movies and stories but, growing up poor and not having access to many resources, the possibility of becoming a script writer, actor or director seem impossible. The more he surrounded himself in the scene of Entertaiment and met more people, the more it became clear to him what his calling was and how attainable it actually can be. He pushed himself to the limits and landed his 1st role in a indie movie. Excited for the possibility and wanting to learn as much as possible. After finishing his Lead parts in the movie, he decided to do background work so he can understand the behind the scenes of the movie making world. He went from background, to assisting on sets to A.D., filming and eventually leaned the skills he needed to understand his calling as a director as well. Raxiel has accomplished more than the average one-man army can. From writing, casting, acting and directing his own films. Publishing his 1st two books "I didn't know my daughter was a ninja" and his self-help mental health book titled "Shut the f*ck up and love". With so much tragic moments following him, Raxiel has done an amazing job does not allow the trauma in his life affect the goals in his future. So many have asked him with his mother dying of cancer, his dad being robbed and killed and his brother being a victim of a stray bullet. Many have wondered how he stays so level headed and focused on his continuous efforts of building his legacy.
