Chris Pan

I have worked as an actor and dancer for 40 years, constantly developing my craft and regularly performing in theatre, TV, film, commercials and dance videos. These include: * Sonny in 'Grease' (Theatre Y Aberystwyth) * actor/stage fighter/dancer in 'Othello' (Royal Opera House) (I was also assistant fight director) * Paco Moralles in the documentary 'The Erotic Adventures of Anais Nin' (Sky TV) * Mick Jagger’s video 'England Lost' I am also a dance teacher (International Dance Teachers Association I.D.T.A) with an associate degree, and currently teach dance at Central YMCA. I originally established my working relationship with my director/choreographer Rikki Beadle-Blair MBE by acting in his Team Angelica-produced short film, 'Gently', in 2009. (My role was that of a sassy trans streetwalker unnerving some lads on a stag night.) In 2014 I attended a 12 month Creative Writing Course at City Lit, obtaining a GCSE in reading and writing; as I am a recognised dyslexic, this was a major achievement. I attended the Arts Educational drama school for 3 years where I obtained a Drama Diploma. Over the last 3 years I have attended theatre-making courses at City Lit (one year Beginners' Playwriting; two years Advanced Playwriting), considerably strengthening my practice as a playwright.
