Updated: ‘MacGyver’ Star is Leaving After Alleged Altercation On Georgia Set

Leading MacGyver  is leaving the show following an on-set altercation in Atlanta, Georgia.

Filming in the state of Georgia is at an all-time high. There are over 20 TV shows and movies shooting in Georgia. One of the biggest shows is the CBS series MacGyver. However, one of the leading actors on the show is leaving after an alleged altercation on set. George Eads is leaving the show after a reported altercation on set. According to Cinema Blend, Eads had an argument and left the TV set in Atlanta, The alleged incident took place in October and possibly caused a “sticky situation on set.” Sources say there were several more T of production that day. That said, any “on-set altercation that may have happened did not immediately result in George Eads taking his leave of the series.” Jack has been a part of the show in and The Hollywood stats Eads is still in production on MacGyver. Currently, his last episode on the show will air at some point in 2019. No details are now available about his character will be written out of the show. That said, the show could continue without George Eads in the show. One of the most straightforward options would be to kill his character off.

While George Eads has not officially commented on news of his departure, he has reportedly asked to be released from his contract due to a desire to spend more time with his daughter in Los Angeles, . With MacGyver filming in Atlanta, he would not have been able to travel back and forth to Los Angeles on a regular basis. have reportedly agreed to Ead’s request to leave the show after Eads desire to quit the series. The altercation does not seem to have been that series that immediate action was warranted against him. Given the messy nature of the split, Eads may not make a return to CBS. He spent 15 seasons on CS, and his departure on that show was reportedly linked to an on-set issue between the actor and one of the writers. The split was described as “amicable,” and it did not result in bad blood between CBS and Eads. We will have to wait and see. Check out MacGyver on Fridays at 8 p.m. ET on CBS. Related:
