About:
BJ Lange is an actor, comedian, and TV host. He is a medically retired United States Air Force medic and 2x testicular cancer survivor. He is a native of St. Louis, MO and is a teacher at (and a graduate of) The Second City Conservartory, as well as an alumnus of Upright Citizens Brigade, and iO West (formerly ImprovOlympic). BJ has been seen on General Hospital, MTV, Jimmy Kimmel Live, The Prank Panel, and The Rookie. He currently serves on the SAG-AFTRA Los Angeles Local Military Committee. BJ is proudly the applied improv comedy coach for the Air Force Wounded Warrior Program. He is a member of Civil Air Patrol (United States Air Force Auxiliary) and serves as a Public Affairs Officer and aircrew member. In addition to his active-duty decorations including a Global War on Terrorism Service Medal and National Defense Service Medal, his volunteer CAP service awards include a Presidential National Disaster Relief ribbon, “Find” ribbons for and PAO of The Year for Missouri Wing and the North Central Region. He was also nominated for CAP’s highest decoration, the Silver Medal of Valor for his lifesaving efforts during a shooting in Hollywood in June of 2022. An avid cancer and veteran advocate, BJ serves as a leadership fellow for Veterans in Media & Entertainment, and as a board member for the Testicular Cancer Awareness Foundation, Combat Boots & Cancer, and Mission Warriors non-profits. BJ is also a teaching artist at the Geffen Playhouse and a per diem clinical instructor at UCLA’s Center for Prehospital Care.
